This page needs a health warning or at the very least some context as to when this technique is appropriate (i.e. rarely). Novices are assuming this is the normal way to customise event handling rather than simply creating an alternative or wrapper event handling script and are consquently becoming confused/frustrated. --Sunjammer 13:08, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
