Most VFX are made up of 3 separate stages:  Impact, Duration, and cessation.  These are indicated using a  &amp;quot;.impa&amp;quot;, &amp;quot;.dura&amp;quot; or &amp;quot;.cess&amp;quot; extension in the animation name on the timeline. VFX animations can be chopped and looped if needed. The speed at which a VFX plays is a part of the VFX's definition and requires the VFX editor to modify.&lt;br /&gt;

If not attached to the subject some '_c' animations will emanate from the ground where placed.&lt;br /&gt;
